Jim Valvano turned his own cancer journey into a legacy that is saving live decades after his passing.
White cancer ultimately took his life, Jim remained focused on helping others. In his last months, he teamed up with ESPN to form the V Foundation for Cancer Research. To date, the V Foundation has granted nearly $400 million to cancer research. As Jim said, "cancer research may not save my life, it may save. my children's lives. It may save someone you love."
