Tasting Notes
This Russian River Valley Pinot Noir reveals a sophisticated interplay between dark berry concentration and forest elegance. The nose opens with roasted blackberry and caramelized blueberries, while dried boysenberries add depth and complexity. On the palate, dark fruit intensity dominates over brighter red notes, showcasing black tea tannins that provide structure without overwhelming the wine's inherent grace. Earthy undertones of the Sonoma Coast forest floor emerge mid-palate, complemented by dried violet flowers that lend an aromatic lift. Dark plum skin adds textural richness to the long, contemplative finish.

Scores
James Suckling: 95 points

"This is the first release of this wine. Perfumed and floral aromas of black cherries, cassis, cedar, autumn leaves and rose petals. The palate is mid-weighted with balanced, seamlessly integrated tannins and a textural and rounded mouthfeel. Nice freshness and structure, with a touch of class. Drink or hold."
